Looking for a Mohs Histotechnician to provide support to fellowship trained Mohs surgeon. Duties to include accurately preparing and processing histologic specimens for microscopic evaluation and review by the Mohs surgeon.
Responsibilities to include processes, embeds, cuts and stains frozen tissue specimens.
Performs and maintains in compliance with quality control procedures and established parameters and standards.
Maintains histology lab equipment in proper working order.
Cross trains appropriate staff on job duties.
Must be comfortable working in a fast paced, surgical environment.
Flexible with job schedule and must be willing to help where needed.
Qualifications:
Preferred degree in histotechnology, medical technology, biological sciences, or related field; or certificate in an accredited program related to histotechnology.
Preferred histology lab experience.
Previous experience working with a Mohs provider is preferred.

Compensation: $20.00 per hour
