QualDerm Partners is on the lookout for a detail-oriented and caring Mohs Medical Assistant (MA) to join our specialized dermatology team. As a Mohs Medical Assistant, you will play a critical role in assisting our dermatologists during the Mohs surgical process. Your responsibilities will include preparing patients for procedures, managing the flow of the surgical suite, and ensuring that all instruments are sterile and ready for use. You will be an essential support to our team, helping to ensure positive outcomes for our patients. Responsibilities

• Assist the Mohs surgeon in the preparation and performance of Mohs procedures.
• Conduct patient pre-surgical assessments, including obtaining vital signs and medical histories.
• Maintain an organized and sterile surgical environment by ensuring all instruments and supplies are available and properly managed.
• Provide patient education regarding the Mohs procedure and post-operative care.
• Document all patient interactions and surgical notes accurately in the electronic health records.
• Work collaboratively with the surgical team and other healthcare professionals to enhance patient care.
• Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current in best practices and advancements in dermatology.

• Certification as a Medical Assistant is preferred.
• Experience in dermatology or surgical assisting strongly preferred, with specific knowledge of Mohs procedures being a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on patient interaction.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle multiple tasks efficiently during surgical procedures.
• Attention to detail and adherence to safety and hygiene protocols.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic office software.
• Willingness to engage in continuous learning and professional development.
