Our Fife, WA location is seeking a motivated Mold Maker Apprentice to join our dynamic team of plastic
injection molding professionals.

Responsibilities:
• Assist with the maintenance, repair, and fabrication of molds and related tooling
• Participate in troubleshooting and diagnosing tooling issues
• Learn to operate mills, lathes, grinders, and CNC machines
• Learn welding operations
• Support bench work activities including stoning, polishing, and disassembly/reassembly
• Must be able to work in a team environment with oversight
• Collaborate with engineers and senior technicians
• Inspect finished molds for surface finish, size requirements, and defect detection, ensuring compliance
with quality standards
• Perform quality checks under supervision using measurement tools
• Perform timely, detailed inspections of mold components using measurement tools and visual
inspection
• Participate in inspection of molded parts as required for mold troubleshooting and repair
• Good housekeeping in the work area and the following of all safety policies, procedures, and rules

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent (tech school or vocational training a plus)
• Interest in manufacturing, machining, and working with precision tools
• Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with SolidWorks and MasterCam (preferred)
• Ability to follow directions and work both independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to craftsmanship
• Willingness to train on forklift and overhead crane operation
• Physical ability to stand, lift, and perform hands-on tasks for extended periods
