Mold Maker Designer

Fabtronic Inc. is seeking a skilled and experienced Mold Maker Designer to join our team. As a Mold Maker Designer, you will be responsible for designing and creating molds used in the manufacturing of automotive paint aide tools. This is a critical role in our company as it directly impacts the quality and efficiency of our production processes.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop molds using CAD software
• Create detailed 2D and 3D models of molds
• Collaborate with internal engineers and management team to understand project requirements
• Ensure that molds meet strict quality standards and specifications
• Perform mold repairs and modifications as needed
• Conduct testing and evaluation of molds to ensure functionality
• Continuously improve mold design and manufacturing processes

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Mold Maker Designer
• Proficiency in CAD software (such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks)
• Strong understanding of mold design principles and manufacturing processes
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Experience with mold repair and modification
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Effective problem-solving skills
• Good communication and collaboration skills
