Hurley & Associates is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented independent contractor to serve as our Monday Meal Coordinator in Brookings. If you enjoy cooking, planning meals, and creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere, this is a great opportunity to put your skills to use in a supportive and professional environment.

What You’ll Do:

• Plan and prepare a weekly lunch to be served at 1:30 PM every Monday for 36–40 team members

• Grocery shop in advance using our Hy-Vee account (online ordering and pickup available)

• Use our fully equipped onsite kitchen to prep, cook, and serve the meal

• Clean up the kitchen and serving area after the meal

• Coordinate with staff on dietary needs or preferences

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Ability to work independently and stick to a consistent weekly schedule

• A friendly and dependable approach to service

• Basic food safety knowledge (preferred but not required)

• Experience in cooking for groups is a plus

Compensation & Logistics:

• This is a 1099 subcontractor role
• Approximately 4–5 hours every week

• Paid per Monday meal service 

• You’ll have access to an established Hy-Vee account for grocery purchases

• A full kitchen is available onsite for all prep, cooking, and cleanup
