Monitor Tech

Assists the Nursing Department in the care of patients by preparing for and assisting with all aspects of cardiac monitoring. Essential functions include informing nurses and appropriate members of the health care team of important physiological and cardiac changes.?

Knowledge of regulatory standards, compliance requirements and hospital policies and procedures. 

Working knowledge of technology such as word processing, graphics, databases, spreadsheets, etc.

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS REQUIRED 

High school diploma or equivalent

Completion of an approved arrhythmia or EKG interpretation class

BLS required within 90 -days of employment and throughout employment
