Mortgage Branch Manager Tampa, FL (North Tampa area – In Office)
We’re looking for a high-performing Branch Manager to lead and grow our mortgage branch. This is an opportunity for an entrepreneurial, production-focused leader who knows how to build relationships, develop talent, and run a compliant, high-performing operation.

What You’ll Do
Lead & Inspire a High-Performing Team
Direct daily branch operations to ensure efficiency, productivity, and adherence to company standards
Recruit, hire, onboard, and develop mortgage loan officers and support staff
Provide consistent coaching, accountability, and performance management
Foster a collaborative, positive culture that drives results and retention
Drive Branch Growth
Develop and execute strategies to grow production and expand market share
Cultivate strong relationships with real estate agents, builders, financial professionals, and referral partners
Identify new business opportunities and strengthen existing partnerships
Monitor market trends and competitor activity to stay ahead of the curve
Produce & Oversee Loan Origination
Personally originate mortgage loans, including application intake, structuring, and pre-qualification
Guide the team through processing, underwriting, and closing to ensure smooth transactions
Maintain expert knowledge of loan programs, rates, and guidelines
Deliver a best-in-class client experience from application to closing
Ensure Compliance & Risk Management
Maintain full compliance with all federal, state, and local mortgage regulations
Oversee internal controls, risk management procedures, and data security standards
Conduct routine reviews and audits to protect the integrity of branch operations

What You Bring
Active MLO License (Required)
5+ years of mortgage industry experience with a strong production track record
Prior leadership or branch management experience
Deep understanding of loan origination, underwriting guidelines, and regulatory compliance
Strong business development skills and a relationship-driven mindset
Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational abilities
Proficiency in mortgage LOS platforms and Microsoft Office
