Description

POSITION SUMMARY:

Provides support for our loan processing workflow. Performs variety of clerical duties, requiring knowledge of departmental procedures. Assembles and verifies loan documents for accuracy per Compliance and Investor regulations. Maintains and prepares files on each loan type and ensures that information is complete and accurate. Post-Closing of files including preparing tickets, tracking and recording of legal documents.

DUTIES:

1. Prepare documents needed to close any type of mortgage (secondary Market, Equilines, Construction and Lot Loans), and coordinate with title companies to send out mortgage packages.
2. Review Title Commitment for Compliance with loan products.
3. Post Close various loans prepared by running tickets and payoffs, mail invoices, file RREAL, order checks, follow up tracking and upload for document storage.
4. Prepare and file mortgage releases, mortgages, assignments or any other documents as needed within Simplifile.
5. Track recorded documents and review final title policies to comply with investor regulations.
6. Mail paid notes and thank you letters.
7. Duties as assigned per Management.

Requirements

RELATIONSHIPS/QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Responsible to the Mortgage Closing Supervisor/Director of Mortgage Operations for fulfillment of duties assigned.
2. Has the ability to achieve profit, growth and customer service objectives within Bank Policy guidelines.
3. Must have good communication skills and the ability to work with all personnel.
4. Must possess good computer skills and time management.
5. Strong working knowledge of lending policies, procedures and documentation requirements a plus.
6. Previous loan processing or closing with general knowledge of Government Loans a plus.
7. Attention to detail.
