Job Description - Mortgage Operations Associate

         Learn and support various operational functions within the mortgage process



  • Assist internal teams with workflow management, loan file movement, document review, and operational support tasks

  • Maintain accuracy and attention to detail while managing multiple priorities and deadlines

  • Communicate effectively and professionally with team members and internal departments

  • Respond to requests, emails, and operational tasks in a timely manner

  • Take initiative to learn systems, processes, and mortgage terminology

  • Adapt to changing business needs and support teams where needed

  • Ask questions, seek guidance, and actively participate in training and development opportunities

  • Work independently while maintaining collaboration with leadership and peers

  • Maintain organization and efficiency in a high-volume environment

  • Support operational goals, service level expectations, and departmental productivity standards

  • Demonstrate professionalism, accountability, and a strong work ethic daily

Preferences



  • Previous office, customer service, operations, or administrative experience preferred

  • Mortgage industry experience is a plus but not required

Work Requirements


Each employee must be able to communicate clearly and effectively, utilize a computer, maintain a work schedule, and effectively perform in an office setting.  To maintain and ensure secure privacy of borrower (and other protected) information, an essential function of this job may require physical attendance in a defined office space. (i.e. branch or corporate office location).  Employment with PRMI requires compliance with and adherence to all applicable mortgage and fair lending laws and regulations as well as PRMI policies. The ability to work extended hours may be required.
