Mortgage Production Assistant/LOA

The Mortgage Production Assistant, or Loan Originator Assistant, will support the production growth in the North Alabama markets. This role serves as a sales support role, working with clients and fulfilling delegated tasks. Essential job functions include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Assistant Mortgage Loan Officers with organizational and origination-based tasks. 
• Connect with clients for the gathering of conditions. 
• Schedule closings with multiple parties. 
• Communicating expectations and fulfillment details to applicants, operations staff, and third-party vendors. 
• Assist with market events, presentations, open houses, panel discussions, etc. 
• Provide sales and marketing support where needed. 
• Assist with technical CRM tools and other marketing campaign programs as needed. 
• Performs other related duties as assigned. 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients. 
• Experience in Encompass LOS and other computer systems. 
• High attention to detail and organizational skills. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• High school diploma or equivalent required, associate's or bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field preferred. 
• 1-3 years of related experience in mortgage fulfillment or sales. 
• Ability to report to our Huntsville area branches as needed. 

Physical Requirements: 

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. 
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
