Qualifications For The Position

High school diploma or equivalent
2 years of customer service and/or collections experience
Proficient knowledge of servicing system(s)
1 year in a financial environment
Knowledge of various mortgage servicing investor/insurer guidelines
Familiarity with Black Knight MSP/Director system

Key Requirements

To excel in the role of a Servicing Debt Counselor, it is essential to meet the following criteria:

Previous experience: A minimum of 2 years in either customer service or collections will be valuable.
System proficiency: Ability to navigate servicing systems effectively.
Financial environment: An understanding of financial settings is beneficial for this position.
Compliance awareness: Knowledge of mortgage servicing investor/insurer guidelines is required.
Software familiarity: Experience with Black Knight MSP/Director system is preferred.

Responsibilities Of a Servicing Debt Counselor

Physical demands: Capable of exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly for moving objects.
Communication skills: Proficient in both verbal and written communication, with the ability to tailor communication to suit individual scenarios.
Active listening: Skilled in actively listening and adept at probing for clarity when faced with ambiguity.
Task management: Ability to effectively handle multiple tasks while upholding a high standard of service.
