Mortgage Servicing Associate

Shore United Bank is seeking a full-time Mortgage Servicing Associate to join our team. The Mortgage Servicing Associate is responsible for executing daily functions of the Mortgage Servicing Department to ensure that all loan accounting records are maintained with accuracy and integrity while meeting all regulatory and Bank loan policy and procedure requirements; primarily but not limited to review of loan maintenance and required source documents; completion of documented quality control processes to ensure accuracy of loans serviced by our Secondary Market vendor; deliver reliable customer service; maintaining and review of loan reports; communicating with appropriate personnel.

Essential Functions Include:

• Review loan maintenance and required source documents. Investigate and resolves discrepancies as needed pertaining to Loan Maintenance.


• Oversee sub servicing’s methods to include but not limited to ensuring secondary market loans are boarded accurately and monitoring of reports and general oversight.


• Process and reconcile daily payments received for secondary market loans.


• Compete mortgage verifications upon receipt.


• Communicate and document loan payoffs to external and internal request.


• Ensures prompt, efficient, and courteous delivery of loan servicing to appropriate bank personnel and compliance.


• Cooperates with, participates in, and supports the adherence to all internal policies, procedures, and practices in support of risk management and overall safety and soundness and the Company’s compliance with all regulatory requirements, e.g., Community Reinvestment Act (CRA), Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Equal Credit Opportunity Act, etc.


• Participates in required training sessions, including training for compliance with BSA/AML policies and procedures.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

• Full-time.


• Non-exempt.


• Days of Work: Monday-Friday. Standard hours are 8:30 am - 5:00 pm.

Required Education and Experience:

• High school diploma/GED equivalent.


• 1 year experience in banking or mortgage servicing required.

Compensation:

• The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $25.00 hourly. The targeted pay rate is $19.00 - $21.00 hourly.


• Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted hiring range based on factors such as relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, licensure requirements and/or skill level, and will be finalized at the time of offer.
