JOB TITLE: Mountain Tour Guide

DIVISION: Events

REPORTS TO: Public Events Manager

LOCATION: On Mountain

CLASSIFICATION: Seasonal/ Part-Time/ Hourly

POSITION:

Mountain Tour Guides will lead visitors on engaging and informative tours, including geology tours in the winter, and staring in the summer.

Requirements:

• Ski or snowboard at an intermediate or advanced level
• Available to work weekends and holidays
• Efficient verbal communication skills
• Must work in varying weather conditions
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines
• Create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for all guests, ensuring a positive experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead guided tours focused on the geological history of the resort area.
• Ensure a safe and informative experience for all guests.
• Provide guests with maps, handouts, and other educational resources as appropriate.
• Lead nighttime stargazing tours
• Encourage questions and provide informative, engaging answers that enhance the guest experience.
• Keep track of all guests during tours and ensure everyone’s safety
• Communicate with resort operations and other staff to ensure tours are conducted smoothly
