Position Summary

Mounting Operator Lead is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining the mounting equipment, quality control, and supervising line team members during production.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Setup, operate, and run machines upon written instructions provided.
Work with team to ensure each job is produced to customer specifications, meeting internal and external deadlines.
Read and understand job tickets.
Follow all safety policies and regulations, report any potential hazards, near misses or accidents immediately.
Help production manager with scheduling and managing team members performing mounting and finishing.
Be able to control and troubleshoot issues on your own.
Perform routine maintenance on the machines.
Handle quality control of product produced.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Experience and Education:
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 2+ years experience as a mounting operator
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines under pressure.
Flexibility and adaptability to changing production needs and schedules.
Ability to work independently as well as with a crew/team.
Experience on Potdevin gluing machines is a plus.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

This job operates in a production environment. This role routinely uses standard equipment such as manufacturing diecutting and mounting machines, presses, and forklifts. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; and see.
