Job Title: Mover / Restoration Laborer

Job Summary:
We are seeking reliable and physically capable Movers/Restoration Laborers to assist with residential moving and cleanup projects. Workers will work as part of a team to safely load, unload, move, and remove household items, including heavy furniture and other belongings. Some projects may involve cleaning out homes affected by fire or water damage.

Key Responsibilities

• Lift, carry, load, and unload items weighing approximately 75–100 lbs.
• Work as part of a team to move heavy household items safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload sofas, beds, mattresses, tables, appliances, pianos, boxes, and other household goods.
• Assist with moving furniture and personal belongings in and out of homes.
• Clean out and remove damaged items from homes affected by fire or water damage.
• Follow instructions from the crew leader and maintain a professional attitude on job sites.
• Use proper lifting techniques and follow all safety procedures.
• Help organize, sort, and dispose of damaged materials and household items as directed.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Wear required PPE and follow all job-site safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be able to repeatedly lift and carry 75–100 lbs.
• Physically able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and perform manual labor for extended periods.
• Comfortable working around homes with fire or water damage.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Previous moving, restoration, demolition, construction, or general labor experience is a plus.
• Must follow safety instructions and company procedures.

Work Environment:
This position may involve physically demanding work in residential properties, including homes affected by fire or water damage. Workers may encounter damaged furniture, debris, moisture, odors, and other job-site conditions. PPE and additional safety instructions will be provided as required by the job.

Packing & moving contents from a home. Must be able to lift 100 lbs - Closed-toe shoes required, clean khakis or jeans preferred - NO tank top, NO vulgar/revealing clothing, NO smoking at or near the job site. A thirty minute unpaid break is provided. Long hair must be tied back - Must be on time, look presentable, be a team player - Pack lunch (no refrigerator), water provided. Please, park on street!
