MP&L Manager

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

·         Plan, direct, and coordinate purchasing and delivery of materials and products.*High volume of SKU’s & High volume of locations*

·         Ensure the timely and cost-effective procurement and delivery of finished auto glass from internal and external suppliers to our distribution center

·         Ensure the right product is available in the right place at the right time by maintaining proper inventory levels

·         Lead and develop a team of three buyers; provide direction, training, and performance management to ensure accurate part-level purchasing aligned with stocking strategies and service level goals.

·         Support operational and organizational efficiency in the warehouse.

·         Support engineering level management for new and existing products

·         Collaborate with sales, operations, and inventory teams to analyze historical usage, seasonal trends, and market shifts to create accurate demand forecasts for all SKUs.

·         Develop and measure key performance metrics related to supply chain management

·         Identify deviations, receiving verification, accurate labelling, FIFO control, and improve inventory accuracy.

·         Resolve claim issues as necessary

·         Approve relevant invoices as they occur

·         Competitively bid Carlex requirements within the market.

·         Provide critical input and monitor new and existing Aftermarket programs in regard to supply chain requirements and issues

·         Supervise trade advisor services and broker actions to ensure AGS is compliant with US import and Export regulations
