Job Description - MRI Tech

MRI Technologist – Reston-Herndon, VA | Weekdays Only | Sign-on Bonus

Fairfax Radiology Centers — the largest radiology practice in Northern Virginia — is seeking an MRI Technologist (ARRT RT[R] or MRI, or ARMRIT) to join our outpatient imaging team in Reston-Herndon.

This is a full-time, benefited position with a consistent weekday schedule. Here, you’ll work with advanced GE 1.5T and GE 3T MRI systems, delivering high-quality imaging and compassionate care to our patients.

About the Role

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
No holidays, no call
Free on-site parking

What You’ll Do

Perform a variety of routine and specialty MRI exams, including neurograms and breast MRI
Operate state-of-the-art GE 1.5T and 3T MRI scanners
Ensure patient safety, comfort, and satisfaction throughout the imaging process
Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and technologists to provide efficient, high-quality diagnostic services
Maintain accurate documentation in PACS/RIS systems

What You’ll Bring

6+ months of MRI experience OR completion of a formal MRI training program
ARRT certification in Radiography (RT[R]) or MRI, OR ARMRIT certification
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Strong communication and patient-care skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced outpatient imaging environment
