About the Role:

As an MRI Technologist, you will perform state-of-the-art Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) procedures, generating high-quality three-dimensional images of tissue, organs, and other body parts. Key Responsibilities & Impact:

• Advanced Imaging Expertise: Operate sophisticated MRI scanners, select optimal imaging techniques, and ensure the highest technical quality of scans for accurate diagnostic results.
• Patient-Centered Care: Provide compassionate and personalized care, preparing patients for MRI exams, clearly explaining procedures, administering contrast when necessary, and expertly positioning them for imaging.
• Quality Assurance & Safety: Perform thorough quality assurance on MRI equipment and matrix camera, actively supporting accreditation efforts. Maintain a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors, adhering strictly to institutional policies and service standards.
• Operational Excellence: Accurately enter and monitor patient data, respond effectively to emergency calls, and proactively identify/report any equipment malfunctions.

What You'll Bring (Must-Haves):

• Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
• Certifications:
  • Current Basic or Advanced Life Support (BLS) certification, required.
  • Active registration as an MRI Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-MR) or the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT), required.
• Licensure: Current or temporary license by the Texas Medical Board (MRT), required.
• Experience: Proven experience as an MRI Technologist, demonstrating expertise in patient care and imaging procedures.
• Skills: Ability to safely lift and/or maneuver patients in conjunction with others to perform job functions.
• Qualities: A strong commitment to patient safety and quality service, coupled with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and colleagues.
