MRI Tech II

Kennedy Krieger, a renowned leader in pediatric healthcare, is seeking to fill the position of MRI Tech II at the F.M. Kirby Research Center for Functional Brain Imaging. The MRI Technologist II will be responsible for the day-to-day imaging operations in the F.M. Kirby Research Center. The incumbent is a medical and research professional with a comprehensive role that includes preparing subjects for scanning, operating the MRI scanners, removing subjects from the scanner, and basic processing and archiving of MRI data. This is a salary position working Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM, with no on-call.

Qualifications:
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (AART) certification/registration required in MRI.
• Must be certified in venipuncture or have equivalent training.
• BLS CPR certification

Education
Graduate of an AART-accredited Radiologic Technology program required.
• Radiologic Technology program or MRI certification program is a plus

Experience
• Minimum 3 years of experience as an MRI technologist required.
• Interest in research and learning and applying new methods
