What You DO

• Provide exceptional patient care, ensuring safety, comfort, and compassion are top priorities during all imaging procedures.
• Perform high-quality MRI scans in accordance with physician orders and imaging protocols.
• Operate and maintain MRI equipment, including troubleshooting as needed.
• Review and verify images for diagnostic quality and accuracy.
• Document patient information and imaging details in electronic health records (EHR).
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure timely results.
• Build strong relationships with patients, including pre-appointment calls and screenings, creating an environment of safety and compassion.

What You BRING

• Willingness to Learn: Work with our FONAR stand-up MRI, a unique system that offers flexibility for patients needing alternative imaging positions or a more open design.
• Hands-On Operation: This equipment requires slightly more physical engagement for positioning and handling compared to traditional MRI systems, providing a rewarding opportunity to develop specialized skills.

Education:

• High School diploma/GED

Experience:

• 1 year of MRI experience is preferred but not required.

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations Required:

• ARRT certified and Licensed by TDH
• Current CPR certification
• MRI registry preferred

Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Confidence in your skill set
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
• A good understanding of patient pathology, with the ability to adjust scanning protocols as required
