MRI Technologist

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated MRI Technologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans on patients, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images while maintaining patient safety and comfort. This role requires a strong understanding of medical imaging techniques and the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.

Duties

• Conduct MRI scans according to established protocols and procedures.
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and addressing any concerns.
• Position patients correctly to obtain optimal images while ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Maintain and operate MRI equipment, performing routine checks and troubleshooting as necessary.
• Collaborate with radiologists to ensure accurate diagnostic evaluations.
• Adhere to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols during procedures.
• Document patient information, scan results, and any relevant observations in accordance with medical standards.
• Stay updated on advancements in MRI technology and techniques.

Certfications: ARRT Advanced Cert.*, ARRT R*, BLS

Charting: MedHost

Skills

• Proficient in medical terminology relevant to radiology and imaging procedures.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology to accurately identify structures during scans.
• Familiarity with CT imaging techniques is a plus.
• Experience in sonography is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Ability to perform diagnostic evaluations effectively using medical imaging technologies.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with patients and healthcare team members.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain accurate records and documentation.

Day 5x8-Hour (07:00 - 15:00)

Pay: $66.25 per hour
