Location: Naples, FL

Schedule: Multiple Shifts Available

QUALIFICATIONS



  • High School diploma or GED required

  • Completion of an approved Radiologic Technology/MRI/Nuclear Medicine/Radiation Therapy/Sonography program

  • Registered with ARRT in Radiography (R) or ARMRIT (MRI) within one year of employment

  • Minimum 1 year MRI technologist experience preferred

  • BLS certification through AHA or American Red Cross

  • Comfortable using hospital information systems (HIS, RIS, PACS)

  • Strong patient care, communication, and teamwork skills

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Produce high-quality MRI images using established protocols

  • Full understanding of HIS, RIS, PACS to include ordering, monitoring workings, validation of images, and completing studies.

  • Interview patients for relevant medical history and MRI safety

  • Cross-reference implants with device databases and report safety issues

  • Operate MRI equipment, power injector systems, and related imaging tools

  • Ensure proper patient identification using two identifiers

  • Provide all aspects of patient care according to age and treatment needs

  • Monitor and report patient responses to drugs and procedures

  • Maintain proper stock of medical and clerical supplies

  • Document and report equipment issues in a timely manner

  • Recognize normal and abnormal image findings and report to supervisor or radiologist

  • Escort patients to exam rooms and assist throughout procedures

  • Follow all MRI safety protocols and policies

  • Perform other duties as assigned
