Job Summary:
Fulton County Health Center is seeking a qualified MRI Technologist to join our Radiology Department. In this role, you will be responsible for performing high-quality magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans and providing compassionate patient care. You will operate MRI equipment to produce detailed cross-sectional images of the body for diagnostic purposes, ensuring the highest standards of professional service and patient safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality MRI scans following physician orders and established protocols.
• Operate MRI equipment to produce accurate diagnostic images.
• Deliver compassionate care to patients throughout their MRI procedures.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal imaging results.
• Stay current with industry practices, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of MRI procedures and equipment.

• Education: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field.
• Certification: Completion of an accredited MRI program, with expectations to obtain ARRT or ARMRIT registration within one year of program completion.
  • If currently registered in a field other than MRI (such as Nuclear Medicine, Radiologic Technology, or Radiation Therapy), the candidate must pass an advanced MRI exam through ARRT or ARMRIT within one year of completing MRI training.
• Skills: Proficiency in MRI imaging procedures and patient care.
• CPR Certification: Required.
• Previous experience as an MRI Technologist or in another diagnostic imaging role preferred.
• Experience in cross-training programs for MRI structured education and clinical requirements preferred.
