MRI Technologist- Full-Time - St. Cloud, MN

Schedule/Shifts: Temporary Full-Time assignment, can do 4 x 10 hour shifts (7:30am - 6pm) OR 5 x 8 hour shifts (9:30am - 6pm).

Location: Clinic setting in St. Cloud, MN.

Pay rate: Up to $75, depending on experience! (Up to $3,000/week)

*This is a temporary assignment expected to last around 13 weeks with the potential for it to extend longer!

What we ask of you:

• Screen patients before exam for any precautions or contradictions pertaining to the examination.


• Prepares patients for MRI procedures, explaining the procedure, and positioning patient's body parts appropriately.


• Perform routine and advanced MRI procedures on designated portions of the body used by physicians to diagnose and treat a patient's illness/injury with minimal supervision while providing patient support throughout the procedure. Adjust MRI scan parameters and dose reduction techniques as needed.


• Maintain a positive attitude and working relationships with radiology team, follow physician instructions precisely, and accurately maintain patient records within Radiology Information System (RIS).


• Maintain a clean work area promoting good safety habits for patients and co-workers, and maintain equipment in good working order, clean and disinfect after each use.


• Maintain ACR toolkit and accreditation requirements, and ensure compliance with all HIPAA guidelines.


• Assist with maintaining an updated MRI protocol manual and software upgrades, and monitor medical supply inventory and request supplies as necessary.


• All other duties as assigned.

What we require of you:

• 
  ARRT certification, current and in good standing.


• Graduate of an American Medical Association (AMA) approved school of radiography.


• Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.


• At least 2 years of experience and comfort utilizing MRI equipment/techniques, experience with Siemens is preferred.
  


• Experience scanning patients with implants, contrast and mild oral sedation.


• MRI certification is required.
