MRI Technologist - Per Diem

Summary:

MRI Technologists are responsible for preparing and positioning patient for exams, monitoring patients during exams, developing and adhering to protocols for exams, and having the ability to use the MRI equipment in order to produce examinations of acceptable quality to insure that the study is complete for the interpretation by the Radiologist.

Requirements

Education, Training or Certifications Required:

1. Completion of an accredited program in Radiography.
2. Licensed Maine Radiographer
3. American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification in radiology is required.
4. American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification in MRI preferred but not required.

Experience Required:

Two years or more of experience in MRI required.
