Position Summary:
A Hybrid MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) Clerk is a crucial role within manufacturing, logistics, and facilities management that combines inventory management with software-driven maintenance planning. This position ensures that maintenance teams have the necessary parts (MRO) while simultaneously tracking, scheduling, and documenting those activities in a digital system (CMMS).
Essential Duties:
- MRO Inventory Control: Managing, receiving, and stocking spare parts, tools, and supplies.
- CMMS Administration: Updating, maintaining, and auditing data integrity within the CMMS software.
- Work Order Management: Generating, printing, and closing out preventive maintenance (PM) work orders.
- Data Entry & Reporting: Entering time worked, parts used, and generating maintenance reports.
- Purchasing Coordination: Sourcing, evaluating, and ordering materials from vendors.
- Process Efficiency: Acting as a liaison between operations and maintenance to ensure repairs happen smoothly
Education & Experience / Skills & Abilities:
Minimum Education Required:
High school diploma or GED
Certifications / Licenses / Specialized Trainings Required:
Must maintain and carry a valid Arizona driver license and remain eligible to operate a company vehicle including automobiles and pick-ups in accordance with company policy guidelines
Total Yrs. of Experience Required:
Experience: Previous experience in maintenance, manufacturing, or administrative roles (typically 1-3 years).
Skills & Abilities:
- Technical Proficiency: Strong familiarity with CMMS/JDE software.
- Inventory Knowledge: Understanding of MRO inventory management best practices.
- Organizational Skills: High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Data Accuracy: Ability to maintain accurate, high-quality data records.
- Software Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word)
- Bilingual preferred
Working Conditions & Physical Demands:
- Ability to perform other functions such as standing, walking, sitting, twisting, and carrying objects up to 50lbs.
- Ability to work in cold and wet conditions with the smell of chlorine (inside plant 34 degrees and below)
- Must be flexible with schedule and be available to work PM shift if needed, weekends and overtime as required.
- 80% office work, 20% working in the plant working with maintenance team and vendors.
