As an MRO Manager at Aerones, you will play a critical role in ensuring the availability, reliability, and efficiency of all operational assets. This position is responsible for managing maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) activities across equipment, tools, spare parts, and maintenance processes, while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
You will work closely with operations, engineering, procurement, and field teams to maximize asset uptime, minimize downtime, and optimize maintenance costs. The MRO Manager will lead continuous improvement initiatives, implement best practices in preventive and corrective maintenance, and use data-driven insights to support decision-making and long-term asset performance.
Key responsibilities include:
Overseeing preventive and corrective maintenance strategies to ensure high asset availability and operational reliability
Managing spare parts, tools, and inventory to ensure optimal stock levels and cost control
Developing and maintaining maintenance plans, procedures, and documentation
Utilizing CMMS / ERP systems to track assets, maintenance activities, KPIs, and reporting
Analyzing failures, conducting root cause analysis, and driving corrective actions
Managing maintenance budgets and controlling MRO-related costs
Leading and supporting maintenance teams, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support field operations and business growth
Strong technical understanding of mechanical and electrical systems
Solid knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance practices
Experience in spare parts and inventory management
Hands-on experience with CMMS and/or ERP systems
Data-driven mindset with experience tracking KPIs and preparing reports
Strong problem-solving skills and experience with root cause analysis
Proven ability in cost control and budget management
Leadership skills with clear, effective communication across teams
