POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for supervision of staff and spends the majority of time communicating with, motivating, training and evaluating members while planning and directing their work. This position has the authority to hire, transfer, suspend, lay off, recall, promote, discharge, assign, reward, or discipline subordinate employees or effectively recommend such action. This position is responsible for planning and directing the work of the MROC Training and Evidence Management Unit. The incumbent will exercise independent judgment supervising personnel of the unit and working with regional Command Staff in the formulation of policies and procedures related to the training and evidence functions for the region.

Starting salary will be at the minimum of the class pay range, unless otherwise dictated by FDLE's pay policy. The elements of this selection process may include a work sample and/or interview. Future vacancies may be filled from this position advertisement.
