MTSB Control Owner

We are hiring on behalf of our partner in the insurance sector and are looking for a MTSB Control Owner to take on the following responsibilities :

• Monitor security control compliance and identify deviations from established security baselines.


• Track MTSB control scores and ensure security posture remains within defined compliance targets.


• Coordinate with infrastructure, security, and product teams to investigate issues and define remediation plans.


• Follow up on action plans, monitor progress, and report measurable improvements through KPIs and dashboards.


• Organize and facilitate governance meetings with stakeholders to review security performance.


• Collect and maintain supporting evidence, reports, metrics, and documentation related to security controls.


• Escalate security risks, blockers, and unresolved issues when necessary.


• Participate in the lifecycle management of security controls and standards (CIS Benchmarks, NIST, ISO 27001, etc.).


• Manage and review security exceptions to ensure proper governance and compliance.

Profile required

Qualifications & Experience:

• 
  

  Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Security, Information Systems, or a related field.

  
  

  Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience as a Cybersecurity Consultant, GRC Consultant, Security Governance Consultant, Information Security Consultant, or a similar role.

  
  

Skills & Expertise:

• Knowledge of cybersecurity governance, security compliance, and risk management.


• Familiarity with security frameworks such as ISO 27001, CIS Benchmarks, NIST, or similar standards.


• Understanding of infrastructure security concepts including Active Directory, Windows/Linux, Databases, Networks, IAM, Virtualization, Web Servers, Endpoint Protection, and Patching.


• Experience in security reporting, KPI monitoring, remediation tracking, and stakeholder coordination.


• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Personal Qualities:

• Autonomy, rigor, analytical skills, and strong interpersonal abilities.


• Previous experience in a similar role is required.
