Job Title:  MULTI-CHANNEL SALES & SERVICE SPECIALIST

Overview: 

Our Contact Center is seeking a dynamic Multi-Channel Sales & Service Specialist, who will be responsible for performing a variety of member service issues in a prompt and courteous manner. Acts as a Contact Center Service Specialist assisting members in the inbound queue as required. The right candidate will have a sense of urgency, the ability to handle complex transactions and problems, and oversee provisions of a full range of services to existing and prospective members.

· Customer Service: You are a resource in identifying and resolving member servicing issues and enhances member experience by providing distinctive quality service.

· Teamwork: Your ability to encourage and exchange creative ideas, to provide practical solutions to problems, will be used to promote innovation.

· Communication: Your effective communication style will be used to transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors. 

What You Will Do:

  • The core responsibility of the Multi-Channel Sales & Service Specialist is the effective and efficient introduction to the Credit Union’s products and services to members.
  • Assumes responsibility for performing a broad variety of member services as a Telephone Service Specialist, Teller, or Financial Service Specialist.
  • Responsible for offering and selling financial products and services to consumers in the community and assumes.
  • Provides information to members on Credit Union accounts, products, policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Ensures Teller functions are performed in accordance with established polices, standards, and security procedures are followed.
  • Approves transactions, or gives overrides (within limits of authority) pertaining to verification of identity, funds availability, etc.
  • Educate, promote, and sell credit union products and services that meet member financial needs, including acceptance and processing new products and services.
  • Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective coordination and working relationships with area personnel and with management.
  • Completes required reports and records accurately and promptly.
  • Assumes responsibility for related duties as required or assigned.
  • Provides support to the Online Chatbots and Zelle users.
  • Support Mobile app users and work with them on software updates.
  • Performs online users support and helps our members for any external funds transfers.
  • Provides support for opening new memberships and for opening new accounts for new and existing members.

Requirements

What We Are Looking For:

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of relevant professional experience in call center customer service.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • General knowledge of Credit Union policies and procedures. 
  • Advanced understanding of Credit Union products and services. 
  • Ability to use a personal computer and related software applications including Microsoft Word or Excel. 
  • Solid math skills and bookkeeping abilities. 
  • User knowledge of Digital Call Center software, chatbot, and mobile apps.
  • Bi-Lingual (Spanish speaking) preferred.
  • Excellent communication and public relations skills.

Pay Grade Info:

To provide greater transparency to candidates, we share base pay ranges for all our job postings regardless of State.  We set standard pay ranges for all roles based on function and level of expertise, benchmarked against similar stage growth companies.  Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including, skills, depth of work experience and relevant licenses/credentials, and may vary from the amounts listed below.

The base pay range for this position is:  $27 - $34 hourly.
