Multidisciplinary Special Education Teacher - Career Growth Potential

Blazer Jobs is actively seeking experienced MultidisciplinarySpecial Education Teachers (SPED) for full-time positions within school districts in the Eugene, OR area. We are looking for dedicated professionals who meet all local and state requirements for this role.

Requirements:

• Valid state teaching certificate with SPED endorsement
• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field
• Master's degree in Special Education or related field preferred
• Demonstrated experience in special education instruction
• Knowledge of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and special education laws and regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, and colleagues

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs
• Provide direct instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to ensure student success
• Assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and goals
• Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge
