We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Permanent Multi-Family Superintendent to join our fast-paced construction team. This role is perfect for a seasoned professional who has a profound understanding of the construction industry, particularly multi-family construction. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our construction projects, from planning to completion, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality.

Responsibilities:

Oversee all stages of project life cycle, managing multi-family construction projects from initial conception through to completion.
Coordinate and supervise the activities of subcontractors, suppliers, and the construction team, ensuring all projects are executed according to plan.
Review and comprehend project blueprints, schematics, and specifications, ensuring all construction activities align with design documents.
Manage project budgets, reviewing and approving invoices, and ensuring all financial objectives are met.
Monitor construction progress, identifying and resolving any issues that may delay project timeline.
Ensure all construction operations are in compliance with design specifications and safety regulations.
Conduct regular site inspections to guarantee adherence to quality standards and specifications.
Facilitate communication between construction team members, clients, and stakeholders, ensuring everyone is kept informed about project progress.
Negotiate and manage contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.
Develop and implement project schedules, keeping all stakeholders informed of timelines and progress.

Requirements:

A minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry, specifically in multi-family construction.
Proven experience managing budgets and overseeing large-scale projects from conception to completion.
Extensive knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.
Strong ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to coordinate and oversee the work of diverse teams.
Excellent problem-solving skills, with a knack for identifying and resolving potential issues before they escalate.
Strong negotiation skills, with proven experience in contract management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
Proficient in relevant construction software and technology.
A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field would be advantageous.
