Multimedia / ACT Prep Teacher

Multimedia / ACT Prep (Reading & English) Teacher 

General responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• 
  Teach journalism class and produce multimedia projects, including the yearboakk with students 
  
  


• 
  Teach students how to create marketing materials including flyers, videos, and photos
  
  


• 
  Teach students how to maintain school website and social media pages


• 
  Use students to promote and produce content about school-wide events 


• Teach ACT Prep course to improve students' reading and English writing skills 

Qualified candidates have:

• 
  
  
  
  • 
    Ability and desire to continue to grow and learn
  
  
  • 
    Bachelor's Degree required in communications, journalism, English, or related field
  
  
  • Willingness to become an ACT Certified teacher 
  
  
  • 
    Some experience in videography and photography
  
  
  • 
    Knowledge of Adobe software (ie. Illustrator, Premiere Pro)
  
  
  • 
    Ability to diagnose, repair and maintain hardware and software components
  
  
  • 
    Excellent troubleshooting skills
  
  
  • 
    Exceptional communication skills
  
  
  
  

A portfolio or demonstration of knowledge is required.
