Baptist Health is currently looking to add a Multi-Modality II Technologist to our Diagnostic Imaging department at Baptist ED North. This is a PRN opportunity, working in CT and MRI. 

At Baptist, our Multi-Modality Technologists routinely work in two or more specialties, performing diagnostic exams at a technical level, as well as clerical duties, including record-keeping, and are dedicated to providing high-quality healthcare to our community. This Multi-Modality Technologist requires the ability to multitask and ensure high-quality imaging is performed while maintaining patient safety and comfort.    

Multi-Modality Technologist Responsibilities:   

• Candidate is trained and competent in two or more diagnostic imaging modalities, and agrees to work part of their scheduled hours in each area 
• Areas of competence must include Radiology or CT, plus Ultrasound or MRI 
• May be required to participate in taking call for either or both areas 
• Is compliant with mandatory education and health requirements 

Experience Requirements: 

• 1-2 years Experience in one other imaging modality 
• 1-2 years Customer Service Experience 
• 1-2 years Experience working in a hospital setting 

Education & Credential Requirements:  

• Vocational School 
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) - ARDMS Required Or 
• Registered Technologist in Magnetic Resonance Imaging – ARRT Required Or 
• Registered Technologist in Radiography – ARRT Required Or 
• Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) Required Or 
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
