🔧Job Overview

We’re looking for a skilled Multi-Spindle Screw Machine Operator to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity for operators who want consistent hours, great shift options, and competitive pay — especially on our weekend shift with a premium pay structure.

If you’ve worked with ACME Gridley, New Britain, Conomatic, Brown & Sharpe, or Davenport machines — or better yet, ZPS Euroturn Multi-Spindles — we’d love to talk.

🕒 Available Shifts:

• 1st Shift: Mon–Thurs | 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• 2nd Shift: Mon–Wed | 3:50 PM – 3:05 AM + Thurs | 3:50 PM – 10:05 PM
• Weekend Shift: Fri–Sun | 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Paid for 36 hrs with premium pay that exceeds typical 40-hour earnings!)

🧰 What You’ll Be Doing:

• Key Responsibilities
• Operate multi-spindle screw machines to produce high-quality precision parts
• Load raw materials and monitor machine operation during production runs
• Make basic adjustments and notify setup technicians of larger issues
• Perform quality checks using measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges)
• Keep accurate production records and maintain a clean, safe work environment
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure on-time delivery

🔑 What We’re Looking For:

• 1+ years operating multi-spindle screw machines
• Familiarity with older screw machines such as:
• ACME Gridley
• New Britain
• Conomatic
• Brown & Sharpe
• Davenport
• Bonus: Experience with Euroturn or ZPS Multi-Spindle Auto Load Machines
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot minor issues
• Ability to read blueprints and follow verbal/written instructions

💥 Extra Bonus If You Have:

• Experience with Euroturn Multi-Spindle or ZPS Euroturn automatic machines
• Setup experience or past experience at companies like DuPage Machine Products or similar machine shops in the IL/WI area
