Summary:
Seeking an Associate Attorney with 2–4 years of experience to join its Municipal & School Law group in Pittsburgh. This position offers the opportunity to advise school districts, municipalities, and public entities on a wide range of governance, compliance, labor, real estate, and litigation matters. Candidates should be strong researchers and communicators with public sector experience and a Pennsylvania law license.

What You’ll Do:
• Advise clients on Right-to-Know Law, Sunshine Act, Ethics Act, and school law
• Draft and interpret ordinances, labor agreements, and client contracts
• Represent clients in zoning issues, code enforcement, and eminent domain
• Attend board meetings, hearings, and public proceedings
• Assist with real estate transactions and public bidding matters
• Handle court filings and appear in legal proceedings involving public clients
• Counsel on local tax, special education, and First Amendment legal issues

What You Need:
• Licensed to practice in Pennsylvania
• 2–4 years of legal experience, ideally representing public sector entities
• Familiarity with municipal, education, and administrative law
• Strong legal writing, editing, and oral advocacy skills
• Public board or zoning hearing experience preferred
• Knowledge of electronic filing systems and iManage a plus
• Experience in special education or public labor law a strong bonus
