Municipal Civil Engineer – Engineer-In-Training / Professional Engineer
Location: La Grande, OR

While applying technical civil engineering knowledge and skills, this position may include:
Plan, design and implement critical community infrastructure projects including water, wastewater, roadways, stormwater, public parks, and general civil engineering.
Play key roles in all phases of project planning, design, and construction management.
Analyze engineering data, interpret plans and specifications, and make sound decisions.
Partner with senior engineers and project managers for reporting, design, and construction phase services to enhance public infrastructure.
Collaborate with government agencies for permits, crossing agreements, easements, encroachments, and other necessary requirements.
Facilitate public meetings, public forums, and open houses to discuss project details and answer questions from the public.
Organize and conduct meetings with consulting partners, contractors, clients, and agencies.
Utilize design tools such as AutoCAD Civil3D, Microsoft Excel, WaterCAD, ArcGIS Pro, and InfoSWMM.
Project management including oversight of budget, design team, schedule, and coordination of deliverables and milestones with clients.
Requirements
0-8 years of experience with “EI” or “PE” licensure in Oregon State or able to obtain licensure within 90 days of hire.
Experience with Bentley and AutoCAD software platforms is preferred.
Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with a variety of co-workers and teams.
Compensation: $70,000 – $125,000 annually, determined by experience.
