We are looking for a Municipal Project Manager with experience managing Local Agency Program (LAP) transportation projects and municipal infrastructure improvements. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a collaborative environment on impactful public works projects throughout Michigan.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage civil engineering projects related to water, sewer, stormwater, roadways, and public infrastructure
• Lead multidisciplinary teams of engineers and technicians from concept through construction

• Prepare and review construction documents, specifications, and reports

• Coordinate with local municipalities, MDOT, and other Michigan agencies

• Oversee project budgets, schedules, and quality standards

• Maintain and strengthen client relationships

• Support business development and proposal preparation efforts

• Conduct site visits and attend public meetings as needed

Qualifications:  What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering

• 8+ years of professional engineering experience with municipal infrastructure projects

• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D

• Familiarity with the MDOT LAP program and municipal design standards

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites or meetings as required

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in Construction Engineering or Construction Administration

• PE license or on track to obtain it in Michigan
