Music Teacher - Infant/Toddler and Preschool

They are highly qualified childhood educators who are able to use their creativity and the Goddard Developmental Guidelines as the basis for unique lesson plans that are brought to life in a fun and imaginative way.

We are looking for a fun, warm and energetic Music Teacher for our school who have experience with Infants and Toddlers, and with Preschool-aged children.

Daily Responsibilities

Music Teacher:

• Developing music lesson plans in accordance with our monthly themes and developmentally appropriate activities. Support
• Meeting the individual's needs of the children/ class.
• Interacting with the children to support music through play, exploration, and learning.
• Presenting expectations that are appropriate to the child’s age and developmental level.
• Planning and implementing music activities that develop self-esteem and social skills.
• Communicating appropriately and professionally with parents and fellow staff.
• Building teamwork.
• Using assessment tools.

Requirements Music Teacher Qualifications:

• Associates or BA (preferred) in Early Childhood Education or Music or related field
• Minimum of 1 year music experience in a licensed center or early childhood enrichment center.
• Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices
• Strong written and communication skills
