Full Time Nanny / Family Assistant – Phoenix, AZ 85018

A family in Phoenix, AZ 85018 is seeking a warm, reliable, and experienced nanny / family assistant to primarily care for their 20-month-old son, with occasional engagement alongside their 9-year-old daughter. This role focuses on attentive childcare, structured learning and play, and light household support during downtime.

Schedule:

• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM


• Start date: June 2026 

Family Specifications:

• Smoke free home


• Multi-lingual family environment


• Both parents work from home part of the week


• Family vehicle available if transportation is needed


• Occasional transportation for children may be needed (details to be discussed with candidates)


• Primary care is for a happy, active toddler, with occasional sibling engagement

Responsibilities:

• Provide attentive care for a 20-month-old child, supporting daily routines including meals, naps, and potty training/early toilet learning as developmentally appropriate


• Create engaging, developmentally appropriate activities and structured play


• Support nap routines and daily structure


• Meal prep / feeding support for the child


• Light household support during nap/downtime (laundry folding, dishwasher loading/unloading, tidying, home organization)


• Occasional sibling engagement and outdoor play such as park outings with both children


• Occasional transportation for the older child to activities (2–3 miles from home, family vehicle may be provided)

Requirements:

• Experience in childcare / early childhood education preferred


• Experience creating structured learning or mindful play activities


• CPR / First Aid preferred


• Positive, kind, dependable, and proactive


• Comfortable working in a home environment with family support needs

Compensation:

• $20–$23/hour
