Nanny / Family Assistant – Westerville, OH

A family in Westerville, OH 43081 is seeking an experienced, proactive, and organized nanny/ family assistant to support their household and school-age children. The family is looking for someone who can help create structure and organization within the home while providing dependable childcare and household support.

Schedule

• Approximately 25 hours per week, with potential for additional hours depending on rate and availability 


• Would be working some hours when the children are present and some before the children get home

Family Specifications:

• Professional cleaning crew comes every other week


• Family values organization, reliability, and proactive communication


• Long-term fit preferred

Responsibilities:

• School pickups and transportation to activities and appointments


• Pack children’s lunches and prepare children’s dinners 3-4x per week


• Oversee homework, backpack organization, and daily routines


• Encourage children to stay organized, limit screen time, and engage in productive activities


• Pick up kids’ prescriptions from Uptown pharmacy 


• Laundry and light household tidying


• Home organization and household management support


• Grocery shopping and household errands


• Keep household supplies stocked (soap, paper towels, toilet paper, lunch supplies, etc.)


• Refill water filters and assist with simple household maintenance tasks such as changing lightbulbs and filters


• Organize playdates and oversee children’s checklists and routines


• Meet with contractors as needed regarding household repairs or quotes

Lower Priority Responsibilities:

• Simple yard work including trimming shrubs, pulling weeds, and picking up branches

Requirements:

• Prior nanny, family assistant, household manager, or related experience preferred


• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation


• Strong organizational and multitasking skills


• Comfortable balancing childcare and household support responsibilities


• Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including bending, lifting, and extended periods of standing

Compensation:

• $28–$30 per hour (commensurate with experience)
