Description
SCT is seeking a Program Support Specialist, serving NASA’s Human Capital Office (HCO), in Awards management and Performance Management coordination. The Specialist shall perform human resources technical, analytical, administrative, and data maintenance duties in talent development and management.
The Specialist shall support Organizational stakeholders and is responsible for the administration, coordination, and policy implementation for NASA’s Incentive Awards Program as authorized by the NASA OCHCO. This includes preparing and processing civil service employee awards and includes, but is not limited to, cash and time off awards for annual performance, superior accomplishments/special act awards, Agency, and sub-Agency (e.g., Center or Enterprise support) honorary awards, Length of Service (LOS) awards, peer awards, on-the-spot awards, external awards, and other special awards.
NASA’s performance management (PM) system is titled the Employee Performance Communication System (EPCS), and it provides a systematic process for planning, monitoring, developing, assessing, and rewarding employee performance that contributes to achieving the Agency's mission and goals in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
