**National Accounts Department Manager**
**Location:** Ashland City, TN, US, 37015

**What You Will Do**
This position is responsible for management of the Commercial National Accounts team, driving customer satisfaction, and expanding the companys sales profitably by creating, implementing, and driving strategies to increase sales to current and new customers. The position partners with the division sales organizations to develop, coordinate, and deploy a strategic commercial national account management plan to leverage the full breadth of the companys market position and innovative offerings.
* Management of national commercial sales manager(s) and sales department through interactions with customers, distribution, service, internal departments, and other key stakeholders.
* Leads solution development efforts to assess, clarify, and validate customer needs to create continuous improvement processes.
* Develop and execute strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base.
* Proactive leadership of company strategic account planning process, developing performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones.
* Act as the liaison between customers and internal teams ensuring alignment.
* Build and maintain strong, long term customer relationships.
* Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives.
* Monitor and analyze department performance metrics for improvements.
* Prepare and deliver Commercial National Accounts Department performance presentations for internal and external customers.
* Monitor industry landscape and data to report on forces affecting segment
* Bachelor's Degree in a related field
* Minimum 3 years of related work experience or training
* Experience working within a sales or management function within manufacturing, Water Heating, Building/Construction, HVAC, Food, Pool, Retail, Commercial channels/markets.
* Progressive responsibility in strategic sales or sales management to mid-size and large customers.
* Proven experience providing strategic account management to mid-size and large organizations through matrix environments, requiring multi million dollar complex contracts.
* Experience developing and managing new and existing accounts and selling within all levels of an organization.
* Deep experience utilizing solution selling techniques to identify business needs, develop customized solutions, and measure business issues.
* Ability to work within a matrix organization and work closely with all business divisions to meet very short deadlines.
* Ability to motivate, develop and lead a team.
* Demonstrated ability to think strategically, manage risk, and be innovative in problem solving.
* Ability to analyze performance metrics.
* Demonstrated high business acumen and understanding of financial principles.
* Experience with CRM software, SAP, Salesforce, Excel, and PowerPoint beneficial.
