National Accounts Manager

SUMMARY

Welch Packaging Group is seeking a dynamic and strategic National Accounts Manager to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead the development and retention of key multi-business customers, driving organic growth and strengthening our presence across various corporate locations. As the face of Welch Packaging Group to our customers, you will play a vital role in fostering long-term relationships and expanding our market reach.

KEY RESPONSIBLITIES

• Develop and maintain strong executive relationships with assigned customers to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing multi-business customer accounts to drive sales growth.
• Assist in onboarding at least two impactful new multi-business customer accounts annually.
• Expand current customer accounts by exploring new opportunities and additional locations to increase revenue.
• Participate actively in quarterly review processes with customers to assess performance, address concerns, and identify growth opportunities.

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education. 

Experience 

• 3-5 years in account management, sales, or business development, preferably within the packaging or manufacturing industry.
• Excellent relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to engage at the executive level.
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• A proactive approach to customer service and a passion for driving business growth.
