National Director of Clinical Education and Development - Remote | WFH

As a Great Place to Work, we prioritize a family-first culture while continually growing and innovating.About the Role:As the National Director of Clinical Education and Development, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the training and development programs for our assisted living and skilled nursing facilities. Reporting to the Vice President of Learning and Development and collaborating closely with the Vice President of Resident Care, you'll lead the strategy, implementation, and evaluation of clinical and regulatory training initiatives. This remote position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working within a dynamic and supportive team environment.Responsibilities:Identify and interpret state and federal training requirements, ensuring compliance across all care staff.Develop and execute comprehensive learning plans utilizing our learning management system to support ongoing education and compliance.Lead orientation and ongoing in-service education programs for care team members, focusing on quality care and resident satisfaction.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop customized learning content aligned with company policies and procedures.Oversee the clinical onboarding process and identify opportunities for competency development and performance improvement.Partner with nurse leaders to support their professional development and leadership growth.Track and report on key training metrics to assess program effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.Supervisory Responsibilities:Provide guidance and oversight to ensure training programs meet learning objectives and performance indicators.Offer matrix leadership to community care leaders and supervise the Manager of Clinical Learning and Development.Qualifications:Active RN license required.Master's degree in a related field.Three or more years of geriatric clinical experience.Senior living or healthcare experience preferred.Five or more years of experience leading complex, multi-state clinical learning and development programs.Proficiency in managing clinical learning management systems.Willingness to travel frequently.Benefits:In addition to a competitive salary, Discovery offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance.
