Job Description - National Sales Manager (Conventional & Natural)

We are Ketone-IQ, a brand rooted in fueling elite endurance athletes, now positioned to disrupt the energy market. What You Will Do

As a key member of the sales team, you will be laser-focused on opening new accounts and elevating performance in existing accounts through strategic sales plans and promotions. This role is an incredible opportunity to take what is already the top-performing product in the category to the next level. This role reports to the Head of Commercial Strategy.

Who You Are

You a high-performing sales professional with a proven track record of growing sales in conventional and/or natural grocery. You have experience calling on national chain buyers and distributors that will allow you to make an immediate impact from your previous relationships and work experience. You have strong attention to detail yet love to get creative on ways to drive volume and build relationships. You have a passion to win and having the chance to make Ketone-IQ ubiquitous lights you up.

Responsibilities

Open new conventional and natural grocery accounts and expand existing accounts to deliver growth against Company sales and business targets
Proactively identify areas for improvement or new opportunities among assigned retailers, and take action across distribution, product placement, merchandising solutions, and promotional effectiveness
Build winning relationships with the retailers, broker, distributor team, and category managers to ensure top-notch execution and continued growth
Execute promotional plans that drive positive gains and ROI
Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for improvement
Develop and manage forecasts, financial targets, P&L and budgeting for assigned retailers / accounts
Offer strategic insights and direction for the development of assigned retail channels, customer/distributors, and sales strategies
Directly manage key accounts, identify opportunities, build, plan, and execute within the distributor network
Represent Ketone-IQ at retail meetings, trade events, broker meetings, and industry conferences

Qualifications

Minimum 5+ progressive experience working in sales and account management within the conventional grocery and/or natural channels
Strong existing relationships with major conventional and natural retailers such as Whole Foods Market and Albertsons
Experience calling on HQ accounts
Experience from a high-growth CPG company, preferably beverage or shots
Experience with UNFI and KeHe
Substantial experience with syndicated data (Nielsen, IRI, SPINS, etc.) and using that data to create a compelling sales story
Proficiency in sales planning, forecasting, budgeting, and leveraging sales data to drive narratives and strategic decision making
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
Team Player with the ability to mentor, train, and inspire a team to achieve revenue targets
Excellent negotiator and influencer
Passion to win
Curious, forward thinker with an owner mentality
Self-starter with a strong sense of urgency
Results Oriented
Ability to travel 25-50% of the time if needed
