Job Description - National Sales Manager - Primary Care
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced National Sales Manager to lead and develop a high-performing Primary Care sales organization focused on accelerating commercial growth and expanding market adoption. This leader will be responsible for developing sales strategy, coaching and mentoring a geographically dispersed team, identifying market opportunities, and building relationships with large physician organizations and key stakeholders across the Primary Care landscape.
The ideal candidate is an accomplished sales leader with deep Primary Care experience, a strong understanding of the national healthcare market, and a proven ability to build, lead, and grow successful regional sales teams.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and develop a regional Primary Care sales team to consistently exceed revenue and business objectives.
Develop and execute strategic regional business plans that drive market penetration and sustainable growth.
Leverage extensive knowledge of the national Primary Care landscape to identify high-value opportunities and prioritize target accounts.
Build relationships with large physician groups, integrated delivery networks (IDNs), and other key healthcare organizations.
Identify key decision-makers within major Primary Care organizations and develop strategies to effectively position the company's technology and solutions.
Provide ongoing coaching, performance management, and professional development to direct reports.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Clinical, Market Access, and Executive Leadership to align commercial strategies and optimize customer engagement.
Analyze market trends, competitive activity, and customer insights to refine sales strategies and maximize growth opportunities.
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance.
Experience launching or expanding innovative healthcare technologies into Primary Care.
History of successfully hiring, developing, and retaining high-performing sales professionals.
Preferred Location
Candidates located in the Midwest or Southern United States are strongly preferred. Ideal locations align with the current team's footprint, which includes much of the Southern U.S., including states such as Florida, Georgia, Texas, Arizona, and California.
Travel
Ability to travel throughout the assigned region as needed (approximately 40–60%) to support customer engagement, field coaching, and business development.
