The role of the
National Service & Education Manager
is to educate all field team members including estheticians on the ABH signature brow and Golden Ration method and to ensure consistency across the field. This person must have a passion for education and driving results. The candidate must be well-versed in field sales, waxing service, education and have a strong pulse on the needs of the team and business. The
National Service & Education Manager
will assist in driving consistency in brand education, team development, sales and increasing Nordstrom Services. They will support global needs and execute a wide range of requests that support brow skill development, waxing & selling. Excellence in client service, recruitment, field sales and education, and working in an entrepreneurial environment is critical to the success of this role.
OWNERSHIP
Owns the on-site in person service education onboarding and continuing service skill development of retailer and ABH employees including but not limited to Salon Estheticians, Nordstrom Estheticians, Territory Sales Managers, and Regional Education Managers.
Collaborates with Territory Sales Manager to assess the requirements of our retailers and store sales associates.
Responsible for maintaining consistency in ABH brow service and language.
Responsible for supporting the achievement of service goals as well as retail sales plan and corporate KPI’s in service locations and retailers.
Works with Territory Sales Manager and Regional Education Managers on team development and goal achievement for both service and sales.
Build strong collaborative relationships both internally and externally.
Accountable for completing all administrative assignments by the respective due date.
Communicate with Territory Sales Manager and collaborate with Director of Sales on business, /supply, and VM needs for all service locations and retailers.
Collaborates with Director of Sales on retailer esthetician and retail partner training, content and presentations as required.
Collaborates with Director of Sales to understand and analyze the competitors, trends and general conditions that affect the service business over the short and long term
Collaborates with Director of Sales to analyze service business results; create and recommend clear action plans and adapt procedures and priorities to optimize results and ensure effective execution of all present and future operational activities and goals for all services.
Develops Territory Sales Manager in onboarding training and facilitation.
Ongoing services and waxing development for estheticians, Regional Education Managers and Territory Sales Managers
Attends corporate and retail partner meetings as required.
Develops Regional Education Managers and Territory Sales Managers in Nordstrom event execution from a service perspective.
Develops advanced esthetician training programs, in collaboration with Director, encompassing clientele, advanced waxing, tinting, and sales techniques.
Foster community to promote retention with our esthetician team.
Facilitate and/or support events, masterclasses, presentations, meetings, etc. for retailers and field teams.
Create service and service-related training content to support field and retail skill development and service/sales goal achievement
Create regular video content for brow shaping and product application that will be used for social media, retail and field training,
Support any social media and PR requests for facilitation and content.
TIME BREAKDOWN
60% in-store on-boarding, development of estheticians and field to support business (services/events) *TRAVEL REQUIRED.
30% Administrative. Develop advanced esthetician programs, masterclasses, Regional Sales Director/Territory Sales Manager partnership
10% content development and social media work
.
Monday through Friday. Some Saturdays or evenings as needed for special projects and events.
COMPETENCIES
Current Cosmetology or Esthetician license
5-7 years of experience in a retail selling environment
3-5 years of cosmetic retail experience in an executive role or regional manager role
Waxing experience required
Driven to achieve results
Demonstrated ability to inspire, coach and develop others to promotion
Strategic thinker with the ability to effectively execute and manage details
Track record of meeting sales targets and KPI
Ability to work collaboratively and build positive/effective business partnerships
Can provide focus to the team and align them in the vision to achieve results
Excellent written and verbal communications.
Can Deliver persuasive presentations in a variety of settings including senior management level
Entrepreneurial mindset leading through innovation and creativity
Strong sense of loyalty, teamwork, and high personal integrity
Self-motivated and goal oriented
Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Drive, Keynote
