Overview of Responsibilities:

The trader will be responsible for overseeing the planning and execution of a physical natural gas trading book. The trader will report to the Vice President of Trading and will play a critical role in the success of CarbonBetter. This trader will either be located in their market area, or Austin, TX.

Specific Responsibilities

• Identify new opportunities as markets evolve

• Drive consistent P&L results

• Build and cultivate relationships in the physical natural gas markets

• Enter deals timely in CarbonBetter’s ETRM

• Communicate clearly to facilitate scheduling, mid and back office functions

Qualifications

• Expert level knowledge of pipelines and the flow of gas

• 5 years + experience in the U.S. physical natural gas markets, with 2+ years of trading experience

• Firm understanding of risk concepts

• Advanced problem solving and communication skills

• Demonstrable track record of success
