Nc Inspector Trainee

This role smooths surfaces of wooden articles, such as cabinet panels using sandpaper

Key Responsibilities:

• Places proper grit sandpaper on hand sander


• Sands specified portions of wood products


• Uses hands and eye to feel and watch for proper sanding and any unremovable defects in the product


• Continually checks sandpaper for wear


• Keeps area clean and organized


• Performs other related duties as needed

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED; one year related experience and/or training


• Ability to print and speak simple words in English.


• Ability to work well within a diverse team environment


• Basic math skills


• Must be able to pass medical respiratory evaluation. 

Physical Requirements:

Constant standing (8-9 hours daily), bending, twisting, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting a minimum of 25 pounds.
